Brita Re-Design

This project explores three fresh design directions for the Brita water pitcher, each aimed at improving the everyday user experience. Another emphasizes a modern, stylish aesthetic that elevates the look of a familiar household product. The third introduces a new functional feature designed to add convenience and value. Together, these concepts highlight how the pitcher can evolve through better usability, updated design, and thoughtful innovation.

Brita PureInfusion

This concept introduces a built‑in fruit diffuser to bring natural flavor infusion directly into the Brita pitcher experience. The design allows users to add fresh fruit, herbs, or citrus to their filtered water without affecting the filtration process. The diffuser sits neatly inside the reservoir, is easy to remove and clean, and keeps ingredients contained while still allowing flavor to circulate. This concept adds a refreshing new layer of functionality, giving users a convenient way to enjoy flavored water straight from their pitcher.

Brita Decant

This concept reimagines the Brita pitcher as a refined decanter designed for both everyday use and entertaining. The top portion houses the filter and can be easily detached once the water has been purified, allowing the pitcher to function as a clean, elegant serving vessel. After filtering, a stylized lid replaces the filter top, giving the pitcher a sleek, table‑ready appearance suitable for dinner parties or casual gatherings. This design blends functionality with elevated aesthetics, offering the convenience of filtered water without compromising on style.

Brita Lift & Pour

This concept is designed to make pouring and carrying a Brita pitcher easier for users with limited mobility or reduced arm strength. By moving the handle to the top and adding a supportive indent on the front, the pitcher can be lifted and poured using a more natural, downward motion rather than the typical side‑grip rotation. This reduces strain on the wrist and forearm while offering better stability and control. The result is a more inclusive, user‑friendly pitcher that supports a wider range of abilities without compromising everyday convenience.
